A look at the cabling, security, audio/visual and wireless systems we’ve designed and installed for organizations across South Florida.
Delivered with GenTec
Global Dynamics Systems is the infrastructure partner of GenTec, a South Florida IT and cybersecurity firm. On these projects our team delivered the physical layer (cabling, network closets, wireless, cameras and access control) while GenTec managed the IT, cloud and security around it. Client names are withheld for privacy. See GenTec’s case studies.
Healthcare · National hospital system
Network closets, cameras and access control for a 14-story medical building
A private hospital system needed one platform for 24/7 video surveillance and access control across a 14-story medical building, built to healthcare compliance standards. We reorganized three network closets to serve every floor with redundancy, ran the structured cabling, and installed HD IP cameras and access-controlled doors on a single cloud-managed network that combines Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti UniFi. Every device was tested before handover.
Project scope
- 95 HD IP cameras at entrances, corridors, stairwells and sensitive areas
- 25 access-controlled doors with real-time logging for compliance audits
- 3 redundant network closets serving 14 floors, plus structured cabling
Services: Telecom Room Cleanup · CCTV / IP Surveillance · Access Control
Education · K-12 campus
Network rebuild across a five-building K-12 campus
As part of a four-year digital transformation, the school’s network was rebuilt from the ground up across all five buildings. We installed the structured cabling and campus-wide wireless that support a device for every student from age 3 to 18, alongside the servers and secure user access managed with GenTec. Every phase came in under budget, and the network carried the school through the move to remote learning.
Project scope
- Structured cabling and wireless across 5 buildings
- Network sized for a device for every student and teacher
- Phased over 4 years, with every milestone under budget
Services: Structured Cabling · Wi-Fi Network Installation
Insurance · New brokerage office
Server room, cabling and VoIP call center for a new brokerage
A new health insurance brokerage needed its entire office built from scratch and ready for growth and compliance on day one. We built a secure server and network room with rack-mounted servers, switching and backup, ran network drops to every cubicle and office, and installed a VoIP call center integrated with the firm’s CRM. Every connection was tested before the agents moved in.
Project scope
- Secure server and network room with racks, switching and backup
- Structured cabling to every cubicle and office
- CRM-integrated VoIP call center for 20 agents
Services: Data Center Build-Outs · Structured Cabling
Government contractor · Headquarters move
Headquarters relocation for a government-contracted manufacturer
A government-contracted manufacturer had to move its headquarters without disrupting operations or putting sensitive data at risk. Every IT asset was inventoried and moved under chain-of-custody controls. At the new site we designed and installed the structured cabling, network closets and workstation connections, then tested network stability and compliance before staff returned. Operations resumed quickly and every contract deadline was met.
Project scope
- Structured cabling and network closets at the new headquarters
- Chain-of-custody move of servers, network gear and devices
- Network built to government contractor security standards
Services: Structured Cabling · Telecom Room Cleanup
Education · Grant-funded charter school
Campus-wide security for a five-building K-8 charter school
A K-8 charter school needed to protect students and staff across an 8-acre, five-building campus within a strict grant budget and timeline. We installed HD IP cameras covering entrances, playgrounds, parking and corridors, secured key doors with access control, added AI video analytics and a campus-wide intercom and visual paging system, and kept phase-by-phase documentation for the grant audit. The project was delivered on time and within budget.
Project scope
- 70 HD IP cameras and 22 access-controlled doors
- AI video analytics, campus intercom and visual paging
- 5 buildings on 8 acres, delivered within the grant budget
Services: CCTV / IP Surveillance · Access Control · Paging & Mass Notification
Waterfront · Marina and boat storage
Wireless links and security for a waterfront marina
A marina with boat slips and high-end storage had limited access to wired internet and needed fast, secure links between its areas and equipment that could stand up to salt, humidity and wind. We connected remote slips and storage buildings to the main network with point-to-point wireless links, then added weatherproof IP cameras and access control on a redundant network design.
Project scope
- Point-to-point wireless links between remote areas
- Weatherproof IP cameras and access control
- 4 zones covered: slips, storage, docks and parking
Services: Wi-Fi Network Installation · CCTV / IP Surveillance · Access Control
